PLAIN LANGUAGE

So that everyone
understands.

Easy,
short,
simple.

Plain language is the simplified version of a standard language that everyone can understand.

Such texts are primarily for people with mental impairments and intellectual deficits. But people with dyslexia/dyslexia or those with autism spectrum disorder, speakers of other languages, the hearing-impaired, older people or younger children can benefit too.

Our specialists, trained at the University of Fribourg, collaborate with copy editors for the target group from various institutions. They are an integral part of our processes for plain language. We write texts in plain language, rewrite texts in plain language and translate them.
